Minette is a 39 foot catamaran that we built in the early 80's. For years she dominated the racing scene in So. Calif. It's a take-a-part, transportable boat and we have taken her to Florida and the Bahamas and the Sea of Cortez. After almost 2 decades of great sailing we took her apart and stored her at the shop. We've started to re-build her now, adding a cabin, transom hung rudders, and a new, used rig. We're trying to take into account all the things that we have learned in the last 20 years as we resurrect this great boat from the ashes. She will be an even better boat than she ever was: probably not any faster but a lot easier to sail and a lot more comfortable. She will stay here in So. Calif. and we will race her again. Scheduled changes also include: twin outboards on lowering pods, a non-spinnaker rig (like the L-7 trimaran), carbon homeycomb floor panels and side walkways, and a center walkway bow tramp arrangement.

Minette is currently under construction and we'll post pictures here and sometimes on the Forum as we put her together.
And now.......pictures of the boat finished .......soon it will have a mast
